Amenities
Eagle Lake is one of the cleanest, hard bottom, sand lakes in MN with an average water clarity of 21.4 feet. Spend your days just floating in the clear water or fishing right off the dock. Largemouth bass, walleye and bluegill are plentiful here. Try out the provided canoe, 2 adult kayaks, kid kayak, stand-up paddleboard, pedal boat or swim out to the diving platform. If you prefer staying on land, we also have great yard games or grab a book off the shelf and read on the deck with lake views. Start your day with a cup of coffee from our coffee cart, where you can choose a full pot or a single cup from the Keurig. The kitchen/dining/family room is a great gathering spot for meals or enjoy the meal outside on the 3 sets of table and chairs. A gas grill is also located on the deck for your use. Wind down at night with a bonfire in the firepit near the water or grab one of our selection of games to play at the game table in the sunroom. Free wifi and 3 smart tv's are located throughout the house. A washer and dryer are provided on site for your laundry needs.
Eagle Lake is located just 8 miles south of Battle Lake, MN. Battle Lake offers many restaurants, boutique shopping, bowling and a grocery store. A Civil War Museum is located in Battle Lake for any history seekers. Ottertail is also a short drive and offers more dining, shopping and ice cream shop.
Glendalough State Park is a wonderful day trip outing with great hiking/biking trails, beach and picnic areas, bike rentals and more. The State Park is located only 13 miles away from the cabin.
In addition to the 5 bedrooms, there is also a twin pull-out couch in the basement bar area and a full sized couch for sleeping in the sunroom too. Linens, pillows, bath towels, beach towels and extra blankets are all provided.
Even our littlest of guests are not forgotten. A pack n play and a toddler cot are provided to be used by guests. A booster seat for the dining table is in the pantry. In the bunkbed room there is a stocked bookshelf for young readers. The bar area includes a toy box full of toys and a HUGE container of Lincoln Logs for any age creator. Kid games and puzzles are also stocked in the sun room. Across the lake is a public sandy beach and park with playground. The kids will be entertained on your vacation..
Eagle Lake has a public access, located at the public beach, if you would like to bring your own watercraft to use during your stay.
Rates
NOW taking bookings for the 2024 season!
We have weekly rental options from Friday - Friday.
Memorial Day through Labor Day Rental Rate is $3,000/week plus taxes.
$500 deposit will hold a week stay. This deposit will go towards your $3,000 total.
At the time of your booking, we will also require a $250 check for a security deposit. This security check will be destroyed (or returned if you wish) after your stay is complete and the owners have cleaned cabin/found no damage.
If renter cancels their stay more than 30 days prior to stay
the deposit is fully refunded.
Off season rates are $1,700/week plus taxes

We have a no pet policy for renters.
One of the owners does own a dog that is there a few times a year, in case of allergy concerns.
